Weekend Eats

Leisurely breakfast:

pumpkin pancakes with cashew butter and maple syrup

Another Isa Does It recipe: Sweet potato and Red Curry Soup. Thickened by a mashed sweet potato and coconut milk base, with red bell pepper, cauliflower, green beans, and adzuki beans.

                                                                  doled out, bowled up

                                                                       apple snack

stir fry with cabbage, carrot, onions, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes over soba noodles with a tahini and soy sauce dressing.
Not nearly enough greens for my liking, but I'm working on that. See you later.

  1. Those pancakes!! I need those in my life sooner rather than later. What recipe did you use to make those?! Haven't the apples been amazing this year? The stir fry looks really great, I've been loving putting cabbage in my stir fries lately.

I hope you are feeling better!

Haha, yeah that dumpling soup had a face only a mother dumpling could love.

  4. Pumpkin pancakes? More like Jackson Pollacakes, more like. Looking good. Also, high five for cabbage. That stuff doesn't get way nearly enough love.

  6. That red curry soup looks fabulous! Anything with coconut milk and sweet potatoes works for me.... I've been going through obscene amounts of apples this year, apples a day and all that.
Hope that you have kicked the sickness - antibiotics suck since they just kill everything good and bad so you pick up godknowswhat in the subway...

    1. It needed a bit more spice for my taste, sriracha took care of that.
